why?

I came across various posts on different sites that talk about the Kanchi Sankaracharya. Most of the people were of the thinking that he is guilty. I dont think its right for neone of us to comment upon it or jump to conclusion by various "proofs" submitted - for or against the Acharya. For, the proofs may be tampered, especially bcoz this has been closely associated with the politicians. They can furnish any "proofs" for or against neone, at their will. I bet if the opposition wants to get the vote of Brahmins, who r supposed to strongly follow him, they can "provide" the necessary "proofs" too. So, whom are we to believe? no one! u just cant trust neone when they are asociated with politics...

But why did the acharya get into politics at all? Thats one Q that I guess is letting his followers down... Are the Acharya's dependending on the politicians for their survival? Is there a need to? I dont think so. If they get confidence of the people, who do they need to be bothered abt? Cant they stay away from the politics, politicians n still survive? They can! The other Acharyas have! So, what was the exact relationship between the Acharya andJaylalita? Why did this crop up all of a sudden, with such harsh treatment? Why was there so much extremity in everything they did? Even if they wanted to arrest the Acharya, why was he not treated with due respect that every living being deserves?

Whatever happened, these happenings only leaves a sense of weakness amongst us, the citizens. Even though we voted them, brought them to power, we are not empowered to get the right info on nething that has bad politicians involved. Whats the use of democracy then? Maybe the anarchy that we had before "democracy" was a lot better. We neways wudn't have had all info, but we wudn't b fooled atleast, that we have right to have info, right to change...
